Today is the day... The day to Vote.
So if you are reading this blog or heading to a forum or a yahoo group to yack it up. Sign off. And head to your polling place. Get it done early.A few things to do onVoting day...
Bring a book to read in line. It may be a line, but it is your chance to make your voice known. The theory of Use it or lose it should stand out in your mind. Let's Use it because our right to vote has been fought for that right over and over.Grab your I.D. on the way out there.
Call your older neighbor on the way out the door to the polling place. Make sure he/she has a ride to the voting booth. It is more difficult with age to get places or do things. That extra helping hand will help them to once again in life feel important as they cast their vote.
Call your nephews and nieces that are over 18. Did they make it the poll? Make it known that their older family relatives find their opinion important and want to make sure they carry on the tradition and honor of voting.
Talk to your children about voting. Tonight give them the opportunity to vote on their dinner choice, the clothes they wish to wear. Something that gives them the feel of how it is to vote. I run on auto sometimes and put dinner on the table or pick out my sons clothes with only the thought of getting it done. Give them the choice, let them feel the right to vote.
Before you go read up on your propositions. Man those things are sneaky! Take a moment to review them and even write yourself a cheat sheet.
You may feel you are one in millions when it comes to the polls,
but it takes millions of ONES to be heard.
Please if you do nothing else today. VOTE.

See you tomorrow!
Enjoy!
