Tall Tales

Just two more pieces in the zoo set to go. Yeah! I have been working on other creations, but wanted to give you the whole set.
This one is three pieces. the words tall tales, the giraffe in silhouette and the giraffe with spots cut out. You can overlay the two pieces or not.

What do you think of my "packaging"? trying to make my files stand out some in the store at Paperthreads.

What a great weekend! I didn't look at the computer much. I hung out with the hubby and my son and helped hang some shelving in our bedroom, cleaned out some of my craftroom, did laundry and the usual. Sunday we stopped by to see my Nan and she was sitting up and enjoying the golf game on tv and my Gramps was hangin out to which was good. Then we went to see my in laws. Love that family. Kids went swimming, I was a fuddedud because I only let Dalen stay in a little with his cold/croup. I think he is getting better. Not as many coughs last night as previously. I didn't want to cook on Mother's Day so we stopped at AJs and got a couple sides and one of them was potato salad. It was so good that a few of the family members said it was good enough to put in place of my own. I make potato salad for family functions usually and if I show up and I have bought potato salad in protest it won't get eaten. RRR. So when I don't feel like cookin I will stop at AJs and get some of their potato salad. WOooohooo! I don't mind cooking, but some days. I just don't want to. Also, after picking out the salads. I asked my hubby if he wanted to see if there was something for desert. Sure...so off wanders my two boys. By the time I walked over there my son's eyes were as big as saucers. Hubby says He wants the fruit tart. The most beautiful fruit tart I have ever seen with strawberries, blue berries, raspberries, kiwi, and black raspberries. So we got it and took it to Grandma's house. Everyone there oohed and ahhed. It was delish. Of course I didnt eat the crust, just the filling and the topping. But that fruit was perfectly ripened and the two white chocolate sticks helped to. yum yum.

Well onto the download because I need to get everyone here moving. Lots to do today. Going to go see my Mom and wish her happy mother's day. Her theory is. I am a mother to. So I don't have to see her on the day. Which is nice because I'll go see her today and take her grandson and guess what.... that will be all that matters. I made her a card which I took a picture of and will post at the gallery at Paperthreads and here.

Well I better run...

I love this file Chris! Thanks for sharing so many with us. I do have a request though....I had asked for a baby file for the book challenge and since you can't find one you like is there anyway you can do a cross for the groovy book? I am doing a book for a Baptism and her name is Ava so it's too short for the challenge so was wanting to use the heart and something else appropriate. Thanks so much.

Glad to hear Nan is on the mend and that you got to spend some time with her. Sounds like your Mom's day was just perfect! Yum, fruit tart!

Give your mum a big hug. Mine is gone and I miss her arms so much.

Your better than me with the sweets thing... I do the opposite. I eat the crust and sauce and leave the filling, lol

Thanks for the awesome giraffe file. It's great!!!
